We aim to make fresh produce accessible to all families in our community.

Towards the end of 2021, Volusia Giving Gardens was born, a vision brought to life with the support of UWVFC Social Innovation Fund. This funding allowed us to provide free, fresh, and healthy produce to underserved communities in Daytona Beach. Our goal has been to bring people together at every step of the gardening process, from building beds and growing food to harvesting.

What does Florida Giving Gardens mean to you?

For me, the most rewarding moments aren’t the largest harvests, but rather the conversations I share with residents in the gardens or simply teaching kids how to plant a pepper.
— Ella Moore, Organization Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer
This organization is more than gardening, its been a door to reality, but more importantly, to hope, community, and smiles for the little kid who is peeking around the corner to see what we’re up to.
— Shea Bryan, Co-Chief Executive Officer
Being a part of Florida Giving Gardens has given me the opportunity to positively impact my community and foster meaningful relationships.
— Cali Moore, Media Chair
Gardens have always been a significant part of my life. Florida Giving Gardens has given me the opportunity to share the joy and health benefits of fresh produce with the community.
